Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform we use to sell our products and Services.

 

2. Eligibility & Use of the Site

By using the site, you represent that you are the age of majority in your place of residence, or you have parental/guardian consent for any minor dependents using the site. You must not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.

 

3. Account, Accuracy & Security

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information for all purchases and to promptly update your details (email, payment method, billing/shipping addresses). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Orders, Acceptance & Cancellations

All orders are offers to purchase and are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order (including quantities per person/household/account or orders sharing the same payment method or address) at our discretion, including for suspected fraud or resale. If we change or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at checkout.

5. Prices, Currency, Taxes & Duties

Prices may change without notice. Unless stated otherwise, prices are listed in AED and exclude applicable taxes, duties, and import fees. For international orders, customs duties, VAT, and/or import fees are the buyer’s responsibility and may be collected on delivery by the carrier or customs authority.

6. Payment Methods & Cash on Delivery (COD)

Accepted payment methods are those shown at checkout.

COD is available only within the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

• Non-UAE orders placed with COD will be automatically cancelled.

• For UAE COD orders, payment is due in full upon delivery; our delivery partner will accept cash only.

  We reserve the right to modify accepted payment methods at any time.

 

7. Shipping & Delivery Estimates

We ship worldwide. Estimated timelines (business days) from dispatch:

• Dubai: 1–2 days

• Other UAE Emirates: 2–3 days

• International: up to 30 days (subject to destination, carrier capacity, and customs clearance)

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the shipping address you provided.

 

8. Product Availability, Descriptions & Colors

 

Some items may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities. We try to display product colors and images accurately, but screen settings may cause variations. Descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.

 

9. Returns & Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Please review it before purchasing. Where applicable laws grant additional consumer rights (e.g., in the EU/UK), those rights are not affected.

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, labor conditions, governmental actions, pandemics, supply-chain disruptions, carrier failures, or utility interruptions.

 

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement, and any non-contractual obligations arising hereunder, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, without reference to conflict of laws principles.

The parties shall endeavor to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement amicably within 21 days of written notice of such dispute. Should amicable resolution not be achieved, the dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

 

21. Severability & Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remainder will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of such right or provision.

 

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and Silk Souq regarding your use of the site and Services, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements or communications.
